12 Days Kenya & Tanzania Wildlife Safari.
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Hotel
Our safari driver will pick you at Jomo Kenyatta International airport; then transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
Have breakfast then transfer to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After that, have a game drive along the shore to see thousands of flamingos and other bird species that inhabit the shores. You will also see some wild game. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Have a morning game drive in the park in search of the animals you did not see the previous day. After that, have breakfast, check out and head to Masai Mara. You will drive via Loita plains.
Day 4: Masai Mara national reserve
You will have both the morning and evening game drive. During the game drives you will spot various wild game that inhabits the reserve such as wildebeest, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras among others. You will also make it to the hippo point to see hippos and crocodiles. Visit the Masai village to learn more about their culture if time allows. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi- Amboseli
Transfer to Amboseli via Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Have lunch en route and then go for an evening game drive to see herds of elephants. On a bright day, you will view Mt Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Amboseli national park
Take a morning and afternoon game drive as you look for the “Big Five” among other wildlife. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast depart Amboseli national park; drive to the border, go through the border customs get into a Tanzanian safari vehicle and proceed to Arusha for lunch. Later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast with packed lunch, you will drive down into the crater – a living Eden for tourists for a full day game drive to see much wildlife such as lions, leopard, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes among others. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Ngorongoro – Serengeti national park
After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti national park stopover at Olduvai gorge- the cradle of humankind. Then proceed to Serengeti arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a game drive to see lions, elephants, giraffes, eland among others found in the vast plain. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Serengeti national park
After breakfast, you set out for a full day game drive game to see the various wild game that stays in Serengeti. The park has numerous predators and herbivores. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Serengeti -Lake Manyara national park
Have breakfast then transfer to Lake Manyara- famous for the tree climbing lions as well as the pink flamingos seen along the shores of the lake. Look out for the blue monkeys, vervet monkeys and the olive baboons along the road. The check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Lake Manyara -Arusha
Morning game drives in search of the wild game that you don’t see the previous day; then return to the lodge for breakfast. After that drive back to Arusha; arrive in time for lunch later drive to the airport in time to catch your flight back home.
