3 Days Wildlife safari Samburu
The 3 Days Wildlife safari Samburu takes you to the Samburu national reserve along the Ewaso Nyiro river. Samburu is a rugged semi-desert park in the rift valley province of Kenya. The reserve is home to Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, elephants, lions and wild dogs. The reserve is also a birders paradise with over 450 recorded bird species. This safari starts and ends in Nairobi.
Day 1: Transfer to Samburu national reserve.
Our safari driver will pick you at your hotel then drive you to Samburu national reserve crossing the equator through the changing terrain to the rugged semi-desert to see the Samburus unique five alongside elephants, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs. You will arrive in time for lunch; after that proceed for an evening game drive in this semi-desert park in search for the rare liver red reticulated giraffe. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning and evening game drive
After breakfast, you will head out for the morning game drive to see wildlife that in Samburu, then return to the lodge for lunch. After that go for an evening game drive. Visit the Samburu villages to learn about the Samburu culture and lifestyle if time allows. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure- Nairobi
After breakfast, you will have a short game drive as you exit the reserve and drive back to Nairobi. Then you will transfer to the airport in time to catch your flight back home.
