4 Days Gorilla flying safari

The 4 Days Gorilla flying safari adventure offers an opportunity to those who want to trek mountain gorillas but cannot sit in the car for 10 hours. Book a morning charter flight with Aerolink to Kisoro airstrip.

Day 1: Arrival

You will meet our safari guide upon your arrival at the airport; who will then transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Hotel protea (B.B) where you will rest as you wait for your 4 Days Gorilla flying safari.

Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi

4 days Gorilla flying safariAfter breakfast, the safari guide will drive you to the airport in time to catch your morning flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. It takes 2hours  to fly to Kisoro airstrip where you will be picked and driven to the lodge. Relax at the lodge for the entire afternoon and thereafter dinner and overnight at Engagi Lodge. (B.L.D)

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa pygmies

Today will be the highlight of our safari because you will have an experience of a lifetime as you trek the Mountain gorillas. After a very early breakfast, you will, therefore, transfer to the briefing area for gorilla trekking guidelines.  Thereafter, you will be allocated the gorilla family and then follow the park rangers into the impenetrable forest; in search for the mountain gorilla family. The movements of the gorillas determine the duration of your search. However, on finding them, you will spend an hour taking photographs, videos as well as observing their fantastic way of life. In the evening you will also visit the Batwa pygmies or former forest people in their new homestead and learn about their way of living. Return for dinner and overnight at Engagi Lodge. (B.L.D)

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast drive to Kisoro Airstrip in time to catch your fight back to Entebbe. Flights depart at 8:30 Am arriving Entebbe at around 11:00 Am and afterwards catch your flight home.
