Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is 165km from Nairobi Kenya’s Capital 21 km on an all-weather road from the Park gate to the Lodge. The lodge is located in a range of hills that form the western Rift Valley overlooking Lake Nakuru with breathtaking views of the Lake and it’s surrounding wooded and bushy grassland a characteristic of the Park. The Lake is a paradise for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, with over 450 species of birds and about 56 different species of mammals.
Nakuru Sopa Lodge is 2000 meters above sea level and overlooks Naishi airstrip a 15 minutes drive from the airstrip to the Lodge.
Accommodation.
The Lodge has 60 rooms of which 54 are doubles and 6 are singles. Included too are 2 interconnecting rooms and 2 wheelchair accessible rooms all with full-length glass windows. All rooms have double sized beds and private fully furnished balconies accessed through the rear glass door.
